Access to lots of restaurants/ entertainment within walking distance.
Parking is across the street, which can be done using the covered pedway.

"The property is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. The one concern I had was the location of the dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They are mounted on the wall of the combination bath/ shower making the floor of the bath very slippery when used. They are also difficult to dispense. Other hotels have better dispensers and easier to use locations."

"Loved our view looking out over the Citadel. Very clean, spacious rooms, liked the attention to recycling, composting, other eco-friendly policies. Very nice breakfast with lots of variety - prefer gala apples to red delicious - less tough. Music a bit noisy, throbbing at times in restaurant. Don't like the hotel's policy of providing wine for purchase right in the room. This easy access may cause problems for individuals who struggle with alcoholism. Front desk staff could do with being updated on local tourist info. We were directed to waterfront for tourist info, only to be told that Halifax Tourist Information facility there has been closed for over a year. Out-of-season tour brochures, (such as Hopper) should not be on display until companies are open for the season. "
