This remodeled 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom Ocean Front house features an amazing 55 feet of exclusive unobstructed Ocean Frontage, dual Ocean Front patios + a 3rd East-facing patio that's ideal for enjoying sunrises, as well as private stairs that lead directly from our patio to a secluded stretch of white sandy beach. NO PETS. \*Note - this home does not include LIVE TV. Only streaming apps are available. INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS This charming single family house captures beach living at its finest. As you enter the front door there is a wonderful open floorplan that houses the spacious living room, gourmet kitchen, and bar nook with a long stretch of floor to ceiling windows to fully capture the stunning 180 degrees of endless ocean views. The living room is accented with arched open beam ceilings, cozy gas fireplace, hardwood flooring, and a flat screen smart TV. Off the living room is a chef's dream kitchen with an oversized island that seats 4 guests, granite counters, top of the line stainless steel appliances, wine refrigerator, and bar nook with seating for 2 directly facing the ocean. Off the main living area are the 2 bedrooms. The lovely master suite has a walk-in closet, brand new King sized bed, modern pocket doors, and & gorgeous ensuite bathroom with glass shower and fully tiled modern vanity. The 2nd bedroom has a queen sized plush sofa bed, TV, & sliding glass doors that lead to the outdoor patio. Off the hallway is a full bathroom with contemporary tiled surround shower, elegant glass doors, and oversized floating vanity. OUTDOOR & OTHER FEATURES A beach lover's dream! This truly is a rare offering with only a handful of homes that have Direct Beach Access. From our lower patio there are stairs that lead directly to a white sandy beach that is both surf and swim friendly. In addition, our home includes 2 ocean front patios, ideal for outdoor entertaining. The upper level patio has a BBQ and table seating for 4 people. A small set of stairs leads you to the lower level patio with additional patio & lounge chair seating. There's also a third patio that faces East and fantastic for enjoying sunrises. Other wonderful features includes easy and convenient electric window shades, air conditioning, outdoor shower, whole-house water filter system, and a stackable stainless steel Washer and Dryer located off the hallway. PARKING • Guests may utilize the driveway for parking and will fit oversized vehicles. LOCATION Perfectly situated on a secluded stretch of beach located between Beacon's Beach (1/2 mile North) and Moonlight State Beach (1 mile South) in the laid back charming beach town of Encinitas! Both beaches are swim and surf friendly. We are also centrally located to numerous eateries, shops, activities, and attractions. All our guests receive a comprehensive list of local recommended eateries & venues. Our home is just blocks to shops, restaurants, and entertainment of downtown Encinitas, 2 miles to Encinitas Ranch golf course, and easy freeway access about 5 minutes away. Take a 15-20 minute trip down south to the famous Del Mar Race Track or beautiful Torrey Pines State Reserve and Golf Course, or for the same amount of time head north for a fun family day at LEGOLAND California. Other top attractions within about a 30 minute drive include Sea World San Diego, San Diego Zoo, and the Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30. • OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Watching the waves, whales, dolphins and surfers out on the decks or from any viewpoint in the main room was exactly what I was looking for. Private stairs down to the beach. Surf Style Team was quick to respond to any questions. Very walkable spot- great coffee just down the hill, and multiple restaurants within a few minutes. Neighborhood is friendly and safe- WiFi is strong- house is bright and sunny- you get used to the passing train noises. However, some issues: The microwave and stove were not working upon arrival. I tried to reset breakers and other maneuvers to no avail. Finally calling the manager, they did send someone out but never called me to tell me the result of the maintenance person's work. I called the office the the woman who answered did not know status. The as we were leaving we were told "parts for both are needed" Not sure why these were not checked prior to our arrival. Yes there are 107 steps down from the house to the beach but all are wood, some in poor condition, with varying heights of the risers making it a bit dangerous and some slanted steps. Clearly the steps are not "code compliant". Some railings weak. ONe LRoom window seal has failed and the whole window is fogged on inside. Some interior window trim needs sanding and re-paint. Only one sheet of suggested dining and "to-do" in area and it was old and did not include newer restaurants. Other VRBOs provide bike shops, places to see, etc more extensively. Centrally located in Leucadia with walking distance to wonderful restaurants and coffee shops (little uphill coming back). The view from the house and the multiple decks is as good as you will find in all of San Diego. We spent most of our time and all of our meals on the patio decks. It is also one of only a handful of homes on the water with its own stairway to the sand. It's roughly 125 steps down the bluff but direct and private access to the beach was amazing. Kitchen was very well appointed, accommodations were comfy and correspondence with the host was fantastic. My son and I surf and it was only a short walk to Beacons to enjoy some great waves. The host also provides a variety of beach chairs, boogie boards and a few soft top surfboards to enjoy in the water. We VRBO quite often and this is definitely near the top, if not the top. The house was in a great location within a short walk to many great restaurants. It was perfect for the two of us and could have accomodated one more very comfortably. We enjoyed the patios and the private stairs to the beach. The views were incredible with amazing sunsets every evening. We had the whole beach to ourselves! The property was meticulously well kept...we had everything we needed and more. We never wanted to leave the house...the 2 patios were the most beautiful spot in Encinitas! Cooking in the kitchen while looking out on the ocean and horizon was heaven. This place is really perfect for quality time with the ones you love. The sound of the ocean, dolphins, pelicans and sunsets. What more do you want. We will stay again for sure. Just some feedback.... Stained couch covers and throw pillows and well used linens need some sprucing up.
