"Yes, the hotel is under construction. But so what? The room I stayed in was freshly painted, clean, and smelled wonderful. The gentleman who checked me in did so promptly, was courteous and friendly (but not overly so), and our interactions were pleasant and genuine. If you like saving money (My room was UNSPEAKABLY inexpensive) and a clean property, give this place a shot. Just because they've got construction going on doesnt mean the stay is any less good."

"We absolutely loved this place. The homecwas perfect and loved the location. Close to a few stores but felt like we were not near any towns. Very quiet location. Saw many dear in the yard. There are houses close but not too close. We loved sitting on the front porch just relaxing when we could. The view is overlooking the lake. Will absolutely stay here again."

"The Treehouse was excellent and the accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and seemed very cozy. There were clear instructions for the stove top that made it simple to use. Communications with the host were very good and she responded very quickly to the couple of minor issues we encountered. We had an outstanding time and enjoyed ourselves however there are a couple of issues I want to include:1. Although the listing said that firewood was provided, we were surprised to find out that it was at an additional cost. The fire pit itself has been well loved for a while and has some rust holes in it.2. The staircase/ladder to the sleeping area was very steep. If you have mobility issues it may be difficult to get to the bed. You cannot walk down the stairs, you have to turn around and climb down the ladder.3. Although the cabin is very clean we found that it had a lot of scented air fresheners present. The fragrance was a problem for us since we routinely avoid anything that is not unscented."
