Beautiful Ellijay
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is conveniently located to the beautiful town. Ellijay has cute shops and great restaurants. We look forward to coming back again next fall.

Charming Bungalow
My husband and I spent Thanksgiving in this charming little cottage. It is less than a block off the main square of Ellijay and we enjoyed being so close to the charming little town we love so much! The house was neat, clean and well equipped for our stay. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook such a large meal. The decor was warm and inviting. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in while vacationing. We enjoyed sunny afternoons on the porch with our pups. This is on our top 5 list of places to stay in Ellijay and we look forward to staying here again!

Alternative to a hotel
I booked this property as an alternative to a hotel for a business colleague and myself. It had everything we needed that a hotel could provide, and more, but at a fraction of the cost of two hotel rooms. We each had a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom and being in the town centre area all our other requirements were met. We had a very late arrival (early hours of the morning after a tiresome journey and the lights were on to welcome us as we arrived. Excellent quality property, shame we weren’t tourists.

Nice place
We were happy with our accommodations, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The home was nice and clean. Only issues were no back porch light for nights taking out my little dogs for potty. Also the rug was so slippery I rolled it up and put it out of the way. We took the train in Blue Ridge on Saturday and unfortunately my gf fell and busted her lip and front teeth so we ended up leaving 3 days early. ☹️ happily she is okay.

Fun with family
Well, our stay was pleasant even though we didn’t get to stay where we had originally booked. The place we booked had a maintenance emergency, but the property manager arranged for us to stay elsewhere and it turned out to be charming and very comfortable.

Great property, exactly what we were looking for. Visiting daughter & grandkids in area. Great location, within short walking distance to downtown Ellijay with many great places to eat & shop. Only changes I would suggest 1) need ceiling fans in bedrooms, with doors closed gets a bit stuffy. 2) House sleeps four but only two chairs on front porch. We spent a fair amount of time on porch in morning and evening. Had to carry two chairs from kitchen for other two guests. Will probably stay again in the future!

Ellijay Downtown
We have stayed at the property previously. We will stay there again! The location is excellent. Description of the property on VRBO is accurate. Everybody in the town is friendly. Don’t miss the Saturday Farmers Market.

Quick Visit With Family
From registering, renting, the arrival, and the entire stay was easy, relaxing, and a joy. Even though it was a quick trip to Ellijay for my husband’s Uncle’s funeral it was still an enjoyable trip. This quaint little cabin made us comfortable and able to rest when not with family. We will definitely look to book it again!

Our birthday trip was great! We had a wonderful time!!
This property was great. The house is absolutely beautiful. Our only complaint is that there are no lights outside except on the front porch. Coming in at dark with no street lights or lights in the backyard made parking and taking our puppies out very difficult. Other than that our stay was perfect!!!

Lovely cabin.
We had a delightful stay. We had an emergency and had to cut the trip shorter than what we had planned. That’s life. We hope to return in the future. Enjoyed Ellijay and the cabin was gorgeous!

Perfect location
Charming remodeled older home in a great location in downtown Elijay in easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very clean with a well-appointed kitchen. Loved the decor. Will definately stay there again.

First Time in Ellijay, GA
My friend and I recently went for a girls trip celebration. The first night/morning, we had to make a trip to the ER because my friend had an allergic reaction to the bed throw pillows and had trouble breathing and was wheezing very badly. Thankfully, they were able to treat her right away at the ER. I too woke up very congested with I believe the same allergic reaction to the bed throw pillows in my room. Neither one of us felt bad in the living room or kitchen area. We did not get home from the ER until around 6AM on 12/18 and then went to bed which interrupted our original plans for the day. After some shopping in downtown Ellijay, we returned to the rental and realized we were locked out because the lock battery was dead. The property manager staff quickly went into action to help. About an hour later, we were able to get into the rental and began trying to find a ride to a winery to celebrate my friend's birthday. After an hour and a half of trying to find a ride and giving out our address to companies who backed out of the trip, I ended up just driving the both of us there to grab a glass of wine before the winery closed down. The trip definitely did not go as planned. You can't beat the location, but I will not be booking again. For those booking and going wine tasting - be sure to plan ahead for transportation!

Hi Ramona, we certainly don't like to hear that your trip did not go as you had hoped for. The throw pillows in the bedroom is just a mystery to us, never experienced anything like this before with anyone and these aren't brand new pillows. Regardless, we sure hate that this happened and glad you both are okay. Yes, it is always a good idea to plan ahead for transportation if that is the goal (that can be limited in this area if not planned in advance). We apologize about the door lock dying while you were there too but glad we were able to get it taken care of quickly. Sorry for all the inconvenience, we would love to have you as our guest again.

Great home base for supporting an AT thru hiker
Loved the in-town bungalow. Well stocked kitchen, super clean and comfy beds. Great place for our 9year old “puppy”. Quiet neighbors, walkable to “downtown” Ellijay, and a perfect location to stage as we supported our daughter through her last few days of thru-hiking the AT southbound. Couldn’ have asked for a better stay! Thanks. Highly recommend it.

Perfect Girls Getaway
Property was easily accessible, well maintained and very clean. It was just the girls this trip, and we loved that there were no narrow up-hill back-roads to navigate getting to the property. What it lacked in view (and that wasn't bad either) it made up for in convenience. We loved that we could walk to the downtown area, and walk right back if we forgot something or were ready for a rest. We spent an entire day in the downtown area and could have spent another day there but our trip was on 2-days. Day 2 was Blue Ridge and it only was only a 20 minute to drive away. We kept commenting to each other about how friendly the shop owners and residents were. Everyone was so genuinely nice and happy for us to be there, it was very refreshing not to feel like a tourist. If I had to tweak anything, I'd say a more comfortable living room couch.....but it didn't prevent us from having a great trip! Will definitely use this property again, for us the house, the location, the town and the people were perfect!!

Great Downtown Bungalow
We loved our stay at the downtown bungalow in Ellijay. The house was exactly as pictured in the listing. Very clean. And so close to Ellijay. We were able to walk to get coffee every morning and walked to dinner every night. Hope to return soon!

Labor Day Weekend
The Downtown Bungalow was perfect for us and our dog Sarge. Comfortable and able to walk to shopping and restaurants in downtown. The back yard and wide open spaces around were easily accessible for walking our dog. Weather was perfect and an added bonus of the Saturday Farmers Market right down the sidewalk.

Downtown was more enjoyable than being isolated in a mountain location, that was our last trip.
Property was excellent, sat on the porch in the sun with morning coffee, walked around the town area, drove out to large shopping and dining areas. Also to orchards and winery's . Met some of the neighbors, and visited with them. Great site and greate time.

Great stay!
Lovely place walking distance to downtown. Only surprise we had was kuerig coffee maker instead of regular maker. But Ingles had a solution. Other than that was perfect for us.

Great in-town location

Wonderful!!
Exactly the way it looks in the pictures. Location was great! House was beautiful. Quiet street. Only issue was downtown shuts down so early. We were there for a 4 day softball tournament and by the time we got back we couldn’t go out to eat or explore the town.

Convenient and comfortable
Great spot in town to visit all the local shops and restaurants/ businesses in the area. All within walking distance while downtown. Open floor plan. If you’re taller, remember to duck going into guest bath. :). Very nice and recommend.

Walking Distance to Everything
This house worked perfectly for my mother (in her 70’s) myself and my 2 small dogs. My goal was to get her out after a year spent at home due to COVID. We were easily able to walk to shops and restaurants in the area and really appreciated the pet friendliness of the house. I also loved how the place was decorated and the large open kitchen. I only wished there was easier access to the backyard for the dogs and the front steps were very high and difficult for my mother to navigate.

Bungalow stay
It is such a cute, rustic. Bungalow right in downtown Ellijay. Everything was great. All I would change is the couch, not comfortable seating to me hanging out and relaxing on. Dogs woke up early and barked the whole stay. Other then that it’s a perfect little get away.

Homey Bungalow in Historic Downtown Ellijay
My mom and I went up to Ellijay for a few days. We absolutely loved this little bungalow in downtown. You are walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. We found some great restaurants (definitely try Emily's and Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza). The bungalow itself was clean, had everything you needed for the few nights we were there and even had a dog bed (we took our small little pups with us). It was a very cozy bungalow. It was a great place to come back after adventuring out in the area. It was a home away from home. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and was quick to get back to me. I made an error on my check-in day and they were quick to call me back and accommodate my mistake. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to the area. We definitely would stay here again. And it is not a far drive from Blue Ridge.

Loved the farm house style! Ship Lapp Happy! Very comfortable sitting areas and sleeping. Walk-In Shower perfect for partially disabled! Hard to get up front steps! Only set back barking dogs 2 every morning from neighbor outback woke me up 7 am.
