"Though the property is only a couple of years old, the handle fell off the shower door, an electrical outlet was missing a cover and bedding was torn and frayed at a corner. The rooms were clean, as was the casino. Room service food was surprisingly tasty. It took three tries to check into our two rooms, which were not ready at the advertised check in time. The minibar in one room wasn’t stocked with snacks. Couldn’t get the fridge door open if I’d wanted to enjoy a beverage. There’s some kind of high tech display that charges you for a snack item if you just pick it up off the display rack. Had to go back to the front desk to ask for info about where amenities were located, and still couldn’t find the pool. The exercise room looked clean and well maintained. Overall, it wasn’t an experience I’d choose to repeat. It wasn’t a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, except for the valets, who were great every time we needed anything. The manager on duty at check out mostly made excuses for the poor service and as much as said that if you book through apps like Expedia you don’t deserve the best service. A return visit to Cripple Creek will be at a different hotel/casino. "

"Everything was really lovely! The cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities and items you’d need. The hot tub was awesome, and the house is close to highway which makes it convenient to get around. We enjoyed hiking in the area and around the property. Would stay again "

"The cabin is beautifully situated! The Peak off the front porch and a lovely Aspen grove in back. The host was very responsive to queries and requests. We had a light snow and it was cleared before we got out the door our first morning (we went to Mueller). We live relatively close (CS) but wanted a quiet serene place for 6 very close friends to retreat. It was lovely. "

"Our host was quick to respond to every message I sent I was a bit needy which I’m not usually and still every question and concern was addressed promptly the house was clean and welcoming the amenities were awesome we had a great stay I highly recommend the steam shower with cold water running from the handheld shower head it’s like heaven of course the hot tub and fire places were amazing who doesn’t love a soak in the hot tub fallowed up by a warm fire but it gets even better you can then have a massage in the 0 gravity massage chair how much luxury and pampering can you stand is the real question here absolutely worth it easy self check in and out I liked the quick conversation through the ring door bell to really confirm your arrival and departure it was just a quick hello did you get in okay awesome enjoy your stay and then again just a quick okay thank you for visiting get home safe have a good day just a great way to semi formally welcome and send off the visitors my five year old had an absolute blast plenty of toys and areas for him to explore and play in he was very comfortable right away which I thought he might need a day to adjust but he pretty quickly settled in and had a good time unfortunately we were running late so we did not sign a guest log or anything but I heavily suspect we will be returning and we will leave a message there next time thank you again we look forward to an even longer stay in the semi near future "
