The air conditioner was finicky, thank goodness for the ceiling fan as it was 100 degrees out. Our room was clean, but furnishings were old. WiFi didn’t work, and no cell service in the canyon. But it was clean and enough room for three of us. But the faucet in the bathroom sink sprayed water all over the counter making it virtually unusable. Also, there was no lighting outside the door making it dark and difficult when arriving late. No servicing the room during the day. Check-in was two miles down the road, which also had a pricey but mediocre buffet breakfast. There isn’t much around there at a decent price, so I guess they don’t have to be very good to compete.
