Dear Edith: Please allow me to apologize that your time with us fell so short of our typical high standards, as well as your expectations. While we do not require a security deposit, we do adhere to a policy of having a credit card on file for incidentals. I can certainly understand your frustration with this policy, if it had not been something that you were expecting and if it had not been explained. The issues that you have noted with the hotel conditions will absolutely be looked into, as this is not at all the impression we like for our guests to have of our property.
