"Die Lage und Ruhe sind wirklich toll, wenn man abgeschieden sein möchte. Viele Tiere, wie Hühner und Schafe. Die Unterkunft - das Hühnerloft - war leider etwas enttäuschend. Kein Wasser, kein WLAN, nicht sonderlich gemütlich. Fernseher war nur für DVDs geeignet, Kühlschrank war auf den Bildern vorhanden, aber vor Ort nicht. Bei 30€ Reinigungsgebühr erwartet man deutlich mehr Sauberkeit. Insgesamt war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gut."

"Leider lag eine stark frequentiert Treppe neben dem Schlafzimmerfenster. Das heißt man konnte erst schlafen wenn der letzte Gast im Bett ist und man wird vom ersten Gast am Morgen. Die Umgebung ist großartig. Von den beiden Restaurants war wegen Personalmangel nur eins auf. Wenn man nicht früh einen Tisch reserviert hat, musste man in den Ort fahren."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Everything felt at home, the house was super clean and cosy with very nice decor. Bed was very comfy and the outside balcony was great for dinner and breakfast. "A reasonably priced hotel, competently managed and serviced by just one lovely lady. The room was sparsely furnished with minimal facilities to hang and store clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases, but otherwise perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was clean with a well-functioning shower. The continental breakfast was ample with fresh bread rolls and a wide selection of meats and cheeses, as well as a limited number of cereals and fruit. The hotel is situated in the village of Vicht right next to the stream of the same name. The village offers delightful walks in its own right, but is also well situated to explore Aachen, Stolberg, Monschau and the northern Eifel region. Use of a car is desirable to get around, but the village is serviced by public transport. Overall we had a great time."
