"Unbelievable little town ❤️ nestled in the most enchanted valley! Lots to do or just relax and enjoy the view. Juliet was very attentive and responded to my communication promptly (even shipped a new toaster when she found out ours wasn’t working). "Wengen - Wow! And what a perfect chalet to experience it from. It is cozy, beautiful, well-located and….the view! I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. "The house was very cozey, and convenient location. However the communication between the hostes and I were poor. As I was only told as that we need to bring our own towels and linen for bedding after we had arrive and I asked where it was!!! Very inconvenient trying to find these items in a small town, let alone after 7pm also!! Other then that, it's a lovely place to stay!!"

"We came in the summer looking to hike in the area and it was great. We were there only a few day but wish we had a longer stay. Many hiking/biking trails. Sabrina is a wonderful host and very helpful. It is not a large house but the 3 of us had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need and all the appliances worked and appear fairly new. "This was our second trip to this property and it was still great. Situated on the mountainside , in a small quiet cluster of properties, its only 5-10 minute drive to 2 gondolas accessing the ski slopes. The skiing was great. The property is very clean and comfortable. We hired both the house and apartment below, which has an indoor adjoining staircase. The children loved the bedrooms in the eaves. We mostly self catered and had everything that we needed. Loved lighting a fire for the soapstone...

"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched over - especially in the shower. But the great service and super restaurant made up for it. "
