We traveled to Scotland with our three grown children. Everyone had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The location was a 15-minute walk from shopping. Two bathrooms (including an en-suite to the master), comfortable queen size beds (and a couple of singles) and fast internet were the standout features. The property is adjacent to Holyrood Park and a short walk from the Royal Mile. It is the perfect base for an ascent of Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags, both of which afford spectacular views of the city. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. (A couple of the local coffee shops were very good indeed.) It is an ideal location for a short stay in Edinburgh if you prefer to be away from the crowded inner city. Duncan was a cordial host; any questions we had were answered promptly. Recommended. ##### Tim M. This was a lovely apartment with everything our family of four adults and two preteens could ask for. The beds were extremely inviting and comfortable. The living room had lots of space to spread out and the bathrooms were modern and stylish. We really appreciated the closeness to the Royal Mile and Holyrood. The kids and their parents climbed Arthur’s Rock and seemed to have given it their own 5 star review. Many thoughtful touches by Duncan were gratefully appreciated.
