Simply country
The house and property is very clean. Lots of space. We didn't get to enjoy the decks due to the windy colder weather. The bedroom on the main level was nice for those not able to handle the old farmhouse steep steps to the other bedrooms. Ron was a great host by stopping by when we arrived to introduce himself and answer any questions.

Family
Visiting with family for a Celibration of Life for a family member that passed away unexpectedly. Sad occassion but it was great to see family members that we haven't seen in a long time. The house is great and very comfortable. Will call again.

Fantastic Farm Country Getaway
We spent two nights at this wonderful location ( late Feb 2023). For anyone looking to get away and relax, this is a really nice stay. The house if tucked way back off of the road. It was clean and very comfortable. The owner is extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a major snow storm the days before we arrived and he made sure everything was plowed and shoveled. We had no issues at all with the snow. He also responded within minutes regarding a question I had. I have not seen an owner with communication on VRBO. We already talked about going back when the weather is warmer so we can also experience it when there is no snow. However, the snow was fun. We walked through the woods and had a great time checking the property out. Do yourself a favor and experience this property.

Wonderful place to relax!
Absolutely loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. Nice quiet location, House is very clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. I was able to order groceries thru Instacart and have them delivered. Owners are so nice and accommodating. Truly a wonderful experience. We were able to relax without a bunch of city noise and lights. The only thing we heard were the swans flying by. Beautiful view of the moon and stars. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to relax after work
The crew said they had a great time, and Ronald made sure to contact me specifically to say the crew I rented the house for had been good guests. Communication went really smoothly and it was a very relaxing nice place for the crew to clean up and rewind after working in the field.

Quick overnight stay
We greatly enjoyed staying at this property. We only needed it for one night and had to leave early the next morning but everything was exactly as described and made our quick trip less stressful. We will definitely be staying again if we are in the area.

Beautiful property for a getaway weekend. Communication with owners was fantastic. Had many amenities (full spice cabinet, clean pots pans, etc) I don’t always see in every VRBO. Short distance from stores in case you forget anything. Jacuzzi tub, beautiful walks, and a starry night sky made for a relaxing stay!

We enjoyed our weekend together at this secluded farmhouse. It was really clean and had everything we needed. Having two bathrooms and three bedrooms was a definite plus for us. We didn't see the cows though. Maybe next time!

Rental was super clean and host was welcoming. Kids loved the jetted tub and the balcony overlooking the cows. Rental had was well stocked with anything you could ever need. Firepit was nice at night. Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay again. 👌

Great place to “Get away from it all!”
This was a perfect place for two college friends to get together and catch up. Clean, comfotable with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the country roads and woods take walks. We especially liked the upstairs balcony to watch the stars at night! Ron was a fabulous host! He shared some some of the things we could so while we were there and was easily available for any questions. Great wi-fi and tv options (Netflix etc)…. we highly recommend! Thanks Ron!

Enjoyable quiet get-away
We were looking for an escape from the Twin Cities. We found the perfect place. Ron's farm house! Private, with the exception of grazing cows which we enjoyed very much. 3 bedrooms, all the amenities. Sat out on the porch, grilled, star gazing, walking trail and visits to the small towns in the area. We definitely want to go back.

The pictures don't do the beauty of the property justice! So many beautiful places to hike and explore. Owner was there to meet us when we checked in and made sure we got a tour of where things were. He was available by text / phone during our stay (we didn't need anything, but it was nice to know he was there). The house was clean and well-stocked with supplies. There's not enough stars in VRBO's rating to express our love of staying here!

We were really looking forward to staying here but then an outbreak of Covid in our group ruined our plans. Ronald was so kind and helpful though. He was communicating helpfully leading up to our stay and then, when we had to cancel, he was so gracious. Everything was very easy and uncomplicated. Hope to actually stay there sometime!

Hidden gem of the St. Cloud area....
This place is great! Very convenient Location. We used it as our base camp and visited family, St. Cloud and the Twin Cities. Also spent one day just cooking out and enjoying talking with the cows... Easily could have gone fishing to one of the nearby lakes. If it was winter - Kimball would have been very close for skiing. The owner was very easy to work with and made the check-in/checkout very simple. In Summary - Next time we are in the area, we will be back!

Quiet, relaxing, and just what I was looking for.
We needed a place in MN because my sister was getting married. This location was over an hour away from her, but I chose it due to the affordable price and that it looked quiet. Boy, I was not disappointed! Ron made every accommodation we could ask for, and even with the warm days, the breeze kept the house very cool. We barely needed the AC. I loved falling asleep every night with only the sounds of nature. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again to Ron and his family for making our stay perfect.

Absolutely loved this place!!
We had a wonderful stay. It was so nice and peaceful here and the house was very clean and nicely renovated. The large, full-size kitchen contained everything we needed and more! There was a dishwasher, ice maker, washer and dryer available. There was a spacious bedroom and a full bath (jetted tub) on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor with a full bath. Towels were plenty and there is now a hairdryer. Internet and streaming worked well. Games and puzzles could be found in the closet. Ron and Ursula were very friendly and helpful. The highlight of our stay was seeing the cows in one of the several pastures located on the 80 acres of land the house sits on. We loved our stay so much; it was sad to leave. If we ever find ourselves in Minnesota again, we would definitely stay here!!

fantastic stay and hosts extraordinaire!
Ron and Ursula's place was perfect for us--spacious, clean, and cozy. My mom loved the ground floor bedroom and bathroom (with jetted tub) and I thoroughly enjoyed the large bedroom, bathroom, and balcony/porch on the second floor. Also loved taking peaceful walks in the woods and exploring Stag Brook. Ron went above and beyond to help make our visit (exploring family roots/history) a memorable and meaningful one. Bonus was watching the lunar eclipse from the balcony! The location is great--buccolic and peaceful but also only 10-15 minutes from Lake Koronis and close to Eden Valley. Thank you, Ron and Ursula, for your hospitality!

We had a great girls weekend at the VRBO farmhouse! The surrounding area lost power and Ron was over within minutes with a lantern and flashlights. Ron was very friendly and informative. We communicated via text and he was very prompt in responding. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. Will definitely go back!

Beautiful country retreat!
Our family stayed here for a month while we were looking for houses to buy in Minnesota. It was a wonderful stay! One of our all time favorite Vrbos! The location is beautiful! You can watch beautiful sunrise and sunset from the deck. The view is just amazing! There are lovely walking trails. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed the long walks and large open space! Everything was clean and well set up for families. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from utensils, pots, pans etc to coffee maker and a Kurig. The house was spotlessly clean. There were also games, dvds, puzzles, and books. Plus plenty of storage space for your own personal items. Communicating with the owner was easy and he even checked in with us the next day to make sure everything was good. If we are back in the area, we would reserve here again.

Great Getaway for the City
This was the perfect quiet get away for my husband and me. The hosts are wonderful and easy to work with. The king bed seemed new - so comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi tub too. There’s plenty of room for a larger group too. Would be great for a family get together. Plus a big yard and some woods for the kids to play.
