It was really a retreat. The house is located on a very quiet road. I didn’t even hear the traffic from route 6 which is right around the corner. The inside was clean and provided everything to keep it that way. The kitchen was a nice size, and had all the things you would need to make a lovely meal. They supplied, the first mornings. Cute table to eat at, comfy couch and chairs in the living room. Bedrooms were nice size with ample storage and hangers. Very firm beds. Bathroom was clean and good size, they provided shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, towels, hand towel and washcloth.All town beaches were within a mile or two. Ocean beaches within ten minutes or less. Bike trail is right there. Stop and Shop less than ten minutes. You can order online and pickup. I wish I didn’t have to leave. ##### Cynthia G. This is lovely property in Eastham and we had a very pleasant first stay at CC. It was close to several beaches and dining, was off the main road and so was safe for the kids to play outside. The cottage was very clean and furnished nicely with a lot of kitchen essentials, extra sheets and other home supplies. The place is a short walk on a gravel road to the CC rail trail, which is a huge plus! The book collection was a nice surprise and we were impressed with the titles from classics to more recent ones. This was our second year coming to this area of Eastham to ride our bicycles to a different beach every day via the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This house is perfectly positioned near the trail (approximately a minute bike ride on gravel and just a few yards on a quiet road). The house was sparkling clean, comfortably furnished and well-appointed with all the basics you might want or need in the kitchen: stainless steel pots & pans, utensils, and even a blender and hand mixer although we didn’t use them, and even glass containers to store leftovers. We like to cook and weren’t sure what we’d find so we brought a few things of our own “just in case", but the only thing we unpacked was our 12” cast iron skillet and our serrated knife. The house has a wonderful deck and outdoor shower. The house also features luxuries like central air conditioning and cable TV, which we didn’t use but were nice to have! We were able to stash our bikes in the underneath garage during downpours which was incredibly handy. One final note: We are sensitive to air fresheners and artificial scents and because of this rental cottages are always a crapshoot. We were so thrilled that the hosts didn’t use plug-in air fresheners! The laundry (sheets and towels were provided) did have a faint scent, but it was tolerable. My only feedback for the hosts - and true for all VRBO hosts - would be to consider switching to an unscented laundry soap. ##### Matt R. It's the perfect location, close to the beaches and route 6\. It was nice and quiet. The cottage is just adorable and very, very clean. I loved that sheets and towels were provided.
