  • A fully furnished and beautifully remodeled Loft Cottage with an open floor plan and a large upper bedroom Loft; sleeps 4 people and has 1-1/2 baths. It is less than 150 feet from Lake Huron and 2/10 of a mile walk to the beautiful sandy beach. The loft with balcony view of Lake Huron is breathtaking! Experience an unforgettable Lake Huron beach vacation with all the comforts and conveniences of home. The loft cottage main floor is beautifully furnished with a gorgeous leather loveseat and 2 comfortable sitting chairs suitable for reading and lounging, and a solid oak mission style dining table and chairs. It is accompanied with everything you need for your stay including a beautifully designed kitchen with island seating, cookware, dinnerware, storage, and many essentials, as well as Pottery Barn bedding and fine linens. As the sun rises above the horizon, a new day calls you outside to the enchanting water and beaches on the shores of Lake Huron. Although a small town, East Tawas has a very lively downtown area with many small specialty shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a movie theater. Tawas Point State Park is 2-1/2 miles away to hike and enjoy unique bird sitings. Enjoy biking the shoreline to Tawas Bay, hiking or cross-country skiing at nearby Tawas Point State Park, Lumberman’s Monument, and Iargo Springs and Corsair Trails (10 miles West). Enjoy kayaking on Lake Huron or the AuSable River (13 miles N), and standup paddle boarding, kite boarding, and boogie boarding offered in the waters and at the beaches of Lake Huron at Tawas Point State Park. Beautiful, clean, and conveniently located!!! We truly enjoyed this cottage right off Lake Huron. It was extremely clean, bed was very comfortable and it had everything we would need, a home away from home. Check in was super easy and the check out instructions were clear, quick and easy! We highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful get away!

The house was immaculate and exactly as pictured. Cozy and not too far from the Lake. You can get a view through the trees and hear the waves. Access to the Lake is not far. Check-in and Check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. A few of our favorite things were the towels and linens - they were luxurious. Silly thing to point out, but we've had some bad experiences and really only expect average for these little touches! King bed was super comfortable as well as the furniture. We felt spoiled. The hosts were very quick to respond when we had questions.

Beautiful Loft Cottage with Lake Huron Views

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at this beautiful loft cottage just steps away from Lake Huron. Great Kitchen, bath and large loft with balcony view of Lake Huron. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Lake Huron Cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in this cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. It is located about 10 minutes from downtown Tawas and even though it is not on the water with a short walk there is access to a sandy beach. Also, our host was great, they went out of their way to make our time enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect!

Just a relaxing weekend away. Explored the area without crowds. Nice to come "home" to a place to call our own, if even just for a few days. We could relax, read, watch TV or whatever. Highly recommend this host and cottage.

Dream home near the lake

This home is decorated beautifully and stocked with everything you could possibly need. With a short walk to the beach, the hosts gave us everything from chairs to a cooler/picnic gear. The communication with the hosts was supreme. Perfect place for those looking for an extended stay. I am already looking forward to coming back!

Quaint cottage

Completely impressed with cottage. Cleanliness is extremely important to us and this was just what I hoped for. It was well furnished in all areas of the cottage. Loved the deck to watch the morning sunshine and the evening end. Close proximity to town and the state park which had nice beach area. A pleasure to stay here.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. The place was perfect, cozy, clean, warm, and classy. We would stay there again. The only issue we had, we thought there was a jacuzzi. Not far from the beach.

Beautiful cabin and awesome location

My husband and I stayed for the week with our adult daughters visiting for the weekend. This was a very clean cabin with a nice layout. The location is close to things to do but also very quiet. We felt like we were all on our own. The owners are nice and reach out occasionally to check on how things are going. We would definitely stay here again. It felt like home!

My family returned this summer and it felt like coming home. This is a clean beautiful cottage in a quiet neighborhood to rest and relax. It is not far to the beach for some fun there. The town of East Tawas is a few miles away. There is always something to do if you want. If you like this area you will not regret staying here.

This cottage not only exceeded expections but was exactly what the listing portrayed. The cottage was a perfect fit for my wife and I and the beach was also a 10 out of 10. Pros -cottage feel with wood paneling - The loft style is a perfect fit for couples - front porch swing nice touch - Porch outside loft bedroom with beautiful view - clean and well stocked kitchen with updated appliances - timely communication with owner - welcome basket - comfy robes - beach essentials for our use We will definitely return Thanks!

Well maintained, adorable, clean, cozy cottage

My spouse and I enjoyed this peaceful cozy cottage, the greeting of a bottle of wine and some locally made chocolate were a nice touch. The chocolate was so good we visited the store and purchased more. The home was very clean, very much updated and functioned well. Had all the items we needed, LOVE that coffee maker! The guest book with suggestions, menus, and maps helped us a great deal for both local food establishments and sites to visit was incredibly helpful. The Tawas city beaches and town were very clean. The owners were readily available but were not needed.Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would definitely stay here again!

This lovely cabin is situated in a wooded area within a very very quiet neighborhood, with only a short walk to the private access beach. The interior is beautiful, with hand painted wall art in most of the rooms. Good quality home furnishings, an open kitchen area with everything we needed to make it our “home away from home” for our stay. Loved the open bedroom/loft area with its many windows and the deck facing the lake. Appreciated having a half bath on the loft level as well. All of our pre booking and pre arrival communication with the hosts was received and answered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a beautiful and restful stay in the East Tawas area.

Beautiful property and location

The property lived up to the pictures from the website and was very well maintained. It's a short drive to the point and downtown. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
