« The house is beautifully renovated with decor worthy of a Southern Living spread! Gorgeous views of mountains and flower gardens. Pretty pond for fishing. Close to lots of local things to do: Safari Park, Natural Bridge, Blue Ridge Parkway, and quaint downtown Bedford where we spent a rainy day exploring the shops. Easy drive for any type vehicle. No four wheel drive needed. Highly recommend! »

« This was the perfect home for a family gathering. Yes, the views are stunning! The house is very close to quaint Bedford and the D-Day Memorial. It is clean and well cared for. The extra amenities were appreciated and helpful. The gas fire pit was a nightly center point and the gas grill was immaculate and in excellent working condition. The hosts were gracious and very helpful. I enjoyed meeting this amazing couple and they were available to answer any questions. Absolute GEM! »

« We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

« We are so happy that we picked the farmhouse as our home base for our daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech this past May. Aunts and grandparents were extremely comfortable with their own rooms and en suites. Everyone had a place to relax between activities and didn't even have to leave the house for morning coffee. We had family meals each night and anything we needed was right there in the kitchen. We had a private chef cook for us one night and she was also impressed with the kitchen! ...

« This was a truly 10/10 stay for us. Absolutely stunning house and views. Nothing beat drinking coffee on the front porch with a view of rolling hills and cows. The host was extremely helpful and generous. We hope to come back in the future for another amazing trip. »
