Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Dziwiszów?
The best area to stay in Dziwiszów is generally within the village itself, particularly near the main road (DW367) or slightly off it, for convenient access to local amenities and the surrounding natural beauty.

For visitors looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to outdoor activities, staying in Dziwiszów village offers a great balance. You'll find a few guesthouses and agritourism properties dotted around, often surrounded by fields and offering views of the Karkonosze Mountains. This area is ideal for couples or families seeking a quiet base for hiking, cycling, or simply enjoying the countryside. The local area provides direct access to walking trails and is a short drive from larger towns like Jelenia Góra.

For those interested in exploring the wider region, including ski resorts like Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba, staying in Dziwiszów provides a more relaxed and often more spacious alternative to the busier resort towns.
When is the best time to go to Dziwiszów?
The best time to go to Dziwiszów is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is at its most pleasant.

During this period, you'll experience warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding natural beauty and outdoor activities. The lush green landscapes are great for hiking and cycling, and you'll find local events and festivals in full swing. This is particularly appealing for couples looking for a romantic getaway or families wanting to enjoy the outdoors without the chill.

Alternatively, the shoulder seasons of May and September also offer good conditions, with fewer crowds and slightly cooler, but still agreeable, temperatures.
