It is an OK property as a motel. Unfortunately, there was a water main issue that left the property without water in the afternoon for couple hours and then, late in the evening, electricity went off seemingly in the entire hotel. I am not sure how long electricity was off - it was off for at least 30 minutes after I came back in the evening.

This is a very old property, but our bed linings were clean and the bathroom was clean. However in room 105 which we stayed in the bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in in a hotel in my whole life. I felt like I was literally just laying on a boxspring. For the price, I think this could be a really nice spot if they would get new mattresses.

The staff helped us secure a room at the lowest rate and were very accommodating! The rooms were very clean. The intersection to get into the hotel was kinda sketchy for me as a nervous driver but there was barely any traffic so it was okay!

I have already reserved my room for my next two visits to the area. My room for my stay was nice, clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located between Durham and Hillsborough so it's ten minutes away from multiple restaurants in Durham and 10 minutes away from the Super Walmart in Hillsborough. It is also close by (5 minutes) from Eno River State Park and it's various hiking trails. The best part is that it has the best prices in the area. 👍
