This is the finest ski-in/ski-out location at the resort and includes a ski locker close to the slopes. Purgatory Lodge contains Durango Mountain Resort's premium amenities including outdoor heated pool with slide, hot tub, workout facility, and family game room adjacent to a private restaurant and bar. There is one assigned parking space in the heated garage on the ground floor of the building. The single level condo is located on the 4th floor (elevator access) and offers amazing mountain and ski slope views. The condo was professionally decorated and each bedroom contains a flat screen TV as well as high end furnishings and linens. The deck off the Main Living Space has awesome views and an electric grill (gas grills are not allowed in Purgatory Lodge). Bed Configuration: Master - King and TV (main level) 2nd - Queen and TV (main level) 3rd - Two Bunk Beds (Single over Single) (main level) Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa (main level) The Lodge's upper floor, which includes the private bar and game room, is closed during the off-season when the ski resort isn't open (fall and April and May) Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). We had a perfect view of the pool/hot tub, as well as the ski base covered in snow! It was so relaxing and very quiet. We couldn't hear the snow cats at all, even though they were very close. When we had a problem with no water to the unit, I was able to call someone at VRC even though it was after the workday, and they answered and took note of the problem. Luckily the problem was fixed within the hour by the building, but, the fact that they answered even after 5 o'clock was such a relief. The bunk beds were a hit for the kids, and it was nice because it was away from the main part of the condo which kept our kids noise to a minimum for the adults.
