This 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom newly updated condo is clean, comfortable, near downtown shops and restaurants and trail systems. There are only 5-8 stairs leading up to the condo. Inside the home, the main level includes a large, open living room with TV, wood burning fireplace, plus a ‘hidden’ old-school turntable with vinyl tunes under the spiral stairs. Adjacent to the living room is a dining room with a table for six. The galley style kitchen includes a full compliment of appliances, ample cookware and utensils. Main level also has the twin bedroom plus 3/4 bathroom. Upstairs is a large king bedroom with sitting area, TV and 3/4 bathroom. This unit has been recently remodeled, so waiting on updated photos of the new bathroom upstairs. Outside the front entry to this home, is an open balcony, with outdoor camp chairs to provide outdoor living space and the firewood supply. There are only 5-8 stairs leading up to this condo. WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP: \* Upper Bedroom - King (TV) \* Main Level Bedroom - Two Twin Beds \* Living Room - Queen Sleeper Sofa GOOD TO KNOW: This property has Air Conditioning - window units. Washer/Dryer inside your condo. Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Ferringway DO NOT allow pets. AMENITIES: The Ferringway Townhomes offers a shared hot tub and heated swimming pool for guest use. The pool deck has plenty of room for lounging, as well as multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space without having to leave the grounds. There is easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. THE POOL IS OPEN APPX MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND. LOCATION: Ferringway is just a 5-minuts drive to historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment. Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes you to Purgatory Ski Resort and the high San Juan Mountains. Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West. Hillcrest Golf Club is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango townhome at Ferringway is a great place to stay! It was well appointed with supplies and was as spacious as we expected. The place was easy to find and minutes from great restaurants, white water rafting and the historic & beautiful downtown. The little reading book in master bedroom was delightful. The view isn’t great- surrounded on all sides by other condos, but it wasn’t a deal killer. Pool was in great condition. The upstairs toilet does make quite a racket but it didn’t disturb anyone downstairs. We weren't at the property a ton, but when we were it was a great space for meals, movie watching, a morning cup of coffee, and generally just enjoying time with family. ##### Alex A. The directions to the condo were good. It snowed the whole time we were there, and no issues in and out of the parking lot or walkways. Comfortable living room. Upstairs toilet is noisy when flushing, but that may be because of the logistics. It worked well. We had a good time! ##### Carol H. The property management keeps the sidewalks and stairs cleared of heavy snow. The unit is well stocked with helpful hints (water gets hot quickly, etc.) that are practical.
