The house and property are very well maintained with all the amenities for a very welcoming and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family. Our Labrador loved the property and we felt very comfortable allowing her to roam freely on the property under our supervision. Had four to six Mule deer visit almost every morning of our stay. We would like to thank you for our visit to the Barn House. It was a lovely house and the property was amazing. We not only enjoyed the house, we loved Durango and the state of Colorado. Very little space for storing personal items like clothes and luggage etc. fireplace did a fantastic job heating the place and it is well insulated. Beds are very comfy. It was very clean and well appointed. The grounds were lovely with a tennis court, apple orchard and stream with occasional ducks sighted. We found ourselves outside quite a bit enjoying the property and surrounding views. Inside it was stocked with everything we needed and was laid out efficiently. I think the only downside was both beds were quite squeaky- we all apparently move a lot in our sleep. ##### Amber W.
