Nestled along the Sacramento River, this historic railroad town offers pristine fly fishing and the botanical wonders of Dunsmuir Gardens. Hike to thundering Mossbrae Falls in the morning, then explore local cafés where trains rumble past just feet from your outdoor table.
This is a quiet place in a beautiful mountain setting, perfect to relax and unwind. There is a retro-style diner on premises. Hot breakfast was included in the arrangement. For us, it was the perfect oasis after a horrible trip through a winter storm.

Staff was accommodating and very friendly, the breakfast was the same every day but had a variety to choose from, hard boiled egg, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit , toast with 3 different kinds of bread, coffee, tea, milk and juice. Hotel was older but clean, was a great location as we had to travel to McCloud every day. Will definitely stay here the next time in town.
