  • Strawberrybank est un joli bungalow jumelé pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes et est situé juste au nord du village de Longforgan dans la Carse de Gowrie. Il se trouve à 9,6 km de Dundee (musée V & A et Discovery Point) et à 25 km de Perth. Il est situé à moins d'une minute de route de l'A90 et est dans un excellent emplacement pour explorer l'Écosse.

    Strawberrybank a sa propre entrée privée et un parking pour 2 voitures. Il dispose d'un salon, de 2 chambres (dont une en-suite), d'une cuisine moderne entièrement équipée, d'une salle de bains familiale et d'un jardin clos.

    Strawberrybank dispose d'un salon confortable avec une télévision TNT et un lecteur DVD et une porte-fenêtre donnant sur le jardin. Il y a une cuisine moderne entièrement équipée avec table à manger pour que vous puissiez profiter de vos repas dans le confort. Il dispose de deux chambres confortables, une équipée d'un lit double et a sa propre salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne. L'autre chambre a des lits zippés et des liens qui peuvent être soit 2 lits simples ou un lit super king lorsqu'ils sont zippés ensemble. Les deux chambres ont une armoire / commode et TV TNT. Il dispose également d'une salle de bains familiale avec douche dans la baignoire. Il y a aussi un magasin avec machine à laver.

    Strawberrybank, bénéficie d'être à proximité de la route à deux voies A90, offrant d'excellentes liaisons routières au nord et au sud. Dundee et Perth sont toutes deux à une distance de navettage facile et offrent la gamme complète des installations que l'on peut attendre des grandes villes. L'A90 à proximité permet également de se rendre facilement à St Andrews et à East Neuk of Fife, Pitlochry, Édimbourg, Glasgow et au-delà. Les terrains de golf à St Andrews, Gleneagles et Carnoustie sont à seulement 35 minutes en voiture. Nous sommes également bien situés pour de nombreux lieux de mariage locaux et l'hôpital Ninewells est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture.

    Dundee connaît un renouveau avec son développement au bord de l'eau, y compris le musée V & A, et il a amélioré son offre de boutiques indépendantes, de bars et de restaurants ces dernières années.

    Il y a des arrêts de bus à Dundee et Perth à distance de marche (5-8 minutes).

Lovely quiet cottage

Perfect cottage for a family break. Ideally located for visits to nearby cities and coastal villages. Everything you could need inside, and a pretty garden outside. Lots of local information in the cottage and easy communication with Jennifer, the owner, on booking and arrival made the whole break stress free.

A home away from home

Jennifer made sure everything was perfect for our stay. She had a folder with all the places to visit organized nicely. The property was clean and smelled great. We recommend this property for a relaxing time away from the city, close to restaurants and events.

It really was great. The house was very very cosy and clean. We had our privacy and if we had any questions or needed advice we got response within 5 minutes! I can´t think of a better place to spent your vacation!

Great vacation home in Longforgan

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at Strawberrybank in Longforgan. Great location for our visit to Auchterhouse. We could walk to Longforgan village for dinner. The cottage was well-equipped and super clean. We loved the private yard. Jennifer was a great hostess. I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Great place to stay

Great host, Jennifer met us when we arrived, which was lovely. The cottage was super clean and is well equipped. We have 2 young boys that loved playing in the garden and on the tyre swing. Parking was great as you have your own spaces. Great location for us as we were visiting family. We'll definitely be back.

Great Stay in Scotland

The rental was perfect for two couples having two bathrooms in this cozy and effecient home. The location was convenient as we traveled to Edinburgh several times easily with the close proximity to the motorway. Jennifer, the host, was very helpful with our day trips. Great property. Wonderful central location for many day trips. Easy access to major roadways. Dundee and Perth close for food shopping and train stations. Owner was wonderful to work with. Very peaceful. Property was clean, efficient and had all the necessary items. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing Time

Went to stay with my mum, sis and sis in law just for some time out. The cottage had everything we needed and was so clean and tidy. We could not fault Jennifer with keeping in touch in the runnup to our visit. I cannot say anythin negative about our visit or the cottage. We are definitely planning to go back.

We had a good stay at Strawberrybank cottage. Very clean and welcoming. Kitchen could do with some more stocking as in like extra glasses, plates and so on. 4 of each is a bear minimum. Jennifer is a good host though. Extra thank you for zipping and linking the bed for us 😉.

Perfect week away!

We stayed at this cottage for a week and it was perfect! Jennifer was a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful! We forgot our charger for the baby monitor and she was able to lend us one. House was very clean and felt very safe during the pandemic. The house is a 5 min drive from the Main Street and 15 min drive from the V&A and 40 mins to St. Andrews. Loads of options for day trips to local towns, beaches and play parks! Would highly recommend!

Quiet holiday

I spent at week at this bungalow with a friend for a quiet holiday. The bungalow is situated outside the village of Longforgan in a rural location although not far from the A90 so there was some traffic noise but not too intrusive. There is a garden with a table and four chairs. It was very hot and sunny the day we arrived so we thought it would benefit from an umbrella but there didn’t seem to be one and for the rest of the week, although the weather was reasonable, we didn’t really need one. The bungalow is equipped for four people but there is no dishwasher which some people might miss. The hot water takes a long time to get to the taps but there was information about this and neither shower worked very well. The en-suite shower room is quite small. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay at Strawberrybank. There is easy access via the A90 to places of interest such as Dundee, St Andrews and places along the NE coast. We particularly liked Broughty Ferry where we had an excellent lunch on our last day at Sol y Sombra. Otherwise, we were unimpressed by the food available in local pubs but Dundee has a lot of eateries and is only about 5 miles away where there are also supermarkets.

Perfect home from home, lovely host

Strawberry Bank was a lovely, well maintained holiday home with a friendly and helpful host. It has a great location for day trips to five and the surrounding area. We travelled with our 2 year old toddler and found everything to be very family friendly and accommodating, especially the mostly enclosed garden and the big lounge area.

Jennifer the owner sent great directions and kept in touch. She greeted us when we arrived. Cottage was spotless and had everything you needed. Very clean and tidy, light and airy. I would love to recommended this but want to keep the little gem to myself haha. Very peaceful and an ideal spot for sight seeing but close to amenities.

Great accommodation.

Clean, comfortable and cosy. Nice little private garden. Well equipped with good beds. Bathroom and en-suite so no need to share if there are two couples which we were. Jennifer very friendly and helpful. Great parking on drive right outside of cottage. Quiet, handy for exploring Dundee and surrounding area. Would recommend.
