"The hotel is in need of refurbishment to say the least the bar area was disgusting seats broken only bottles as pumps not working and dirty glasses infact the hotel should be condemned.
The only saving grace was the staff and the breakfast the staff were polite,friendly and helpful especially Annie who made breakfast service a pleasure.
Disappointing that hotels.com have this on there web site as im sure if they sent an inspector they would not recommend this hotel I for one will not be...

We stayed there for one night and it was lovely. Staff was pleasant, getting to the property was easy (lots of parking!), there’s a Costa café next door for breakfast, and if you have a car getting places in Dundee is super easy from there.

Great hotel. Decor is a little over the top but it’s a very nice place to stay. No defined onsite parking but there is a reasonable parking lot located just across the street. I would recommend this hotel. With any booking you make in the UK, always book the breakfast if you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook it.

Amazing, cost effective place to stay just outside of Dundee. The owner was very friendly. The bar was a perfect local spot and well priced pints. Water pressure in the shower could have been a touch better, but this place is old so that is to be expected. I would stay here again if I was ever in the area!
