"Location is the main selling point. We arrived late in the evening and went straight to the pub close by and got a late night feed with live music in a cozy atmosphere. The sounds of the waves can be heard with the windows open which is lovely and a nice walk on the beach in the morning. Located beside the golf club is great."

"We were unaware that our stay coincided with the month long September matchmaker festival. There was live music from several bands in the big room set up for dancing. It just happened to be right under our room! The staff warned us on checkin and it stopped at midnight so not too bad. We preferred the traditional music duo that played in the bar between the bands. :-) Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Right in the middle of the village. Free parking on street."

"We had a fabulous stay at hotel Doolin! The staff is very friendly and helpful and our suite was lovely and very clean and comfortable. We had dinner at Fritz’s Pub and the food was delicious and the live music a treat! The complimentary breakfast is wonderful and the parking free and easy is a plus! My husband & I would definitely stay again!"

"An Absolutely Magical Stay My husband and I stayed at Armada House while visiting Spanish Point, and our experience was absolutely incredible. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a sea-view room with a beautiful copper tub, which was such a luxurious touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were wonderful, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. Breakfast was truly out of this world! Our entire stay was phenomenal and felt genuinely magical. We highly recommend Armada House—it is absolutely worth it. If we are ever back in this part of Ireland, we will definitely stay here again!"

"We have been coming to Connemara for 34 years, and this house is in the perfect spot for us. Not only do you get gorgeous views over the tranquil Betraboy Bay, but on the other side of the bay you can see Roundstone and round to the east, the Twelve Pins mountain range. The house is impeccably designed so that all the communal living spaces are functional and spacious, while somehow managing to fit in five spacious bedrooms where you can be tucked away with some quiet and privacy. It really is a functional house for a large family gathering. The house has an abundance of options when it comes to different facilities, from washing machines and dryers to dishwashers and ways to dry out beach kit. There's plenty of garden space for kids to run around, has good Wi-Fi, everything you could ever hope for when booking a house for a week. On top of that, John and Mairead were incredibly helpful and courteous, quick to respond with any queries we had. They really made us feel at home. Some people in other reviews have mentioned that Glinsk is a remote area, and this is true. It's definitely as asset. This is why you can enjoy local beaches, walks and mountains without the hundreds of tourists that are now flocking to other parts of Ireland's coast. There are plenty of shops and coffee shops nearby - within a ten-minute drive you can get all the basics, but Clifden, just 30 minutes away, has all the big supermarkets where you can get everything you could ever need. Highly recommend."
