"Chris was an amazing host with the most incredible property that he shares with his guest like their family! Truly enjoyed our stay and visits with Chris - he’s not only interesting and funny but a wealth of knowledge (and encourages you to live life to the fullest!!!) And we love his dog Boots - such a great welcome committee!!! The property is the perfect location to relax or go on nearby adventures. We will be back!!!! "

"Great house for family or group of friends. If traveling in the summer, the house does heat up a lot during the day and the main living area does not have curtains or shades to help. It is in a small neighborhood, so not quite secluded. Clean, well-appointed kitchen, bedrooms included box fans."

"LOVED this place! It’s close to Pagosa but feels very rural and peaceful. The house is clean and modern, nice enough to feel like a vacation house but not so delicate that we had to worry about the kids. It was the perfect size for our group of 6. The views from the living/dining kitchen areas and the front porch are amazing and we saw mule deer, wild turkeys, and even a bear on the property. The owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place is quiet and was the perfect stay. We loved watching the deer and even saw some cute little bunnies! The kitchen has everything you could want or need and the bathrooms have your shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The hot was was a nice way to end the day! The upstairs does not cool down well but a few fans helped. Screens on the doors would be a bonus."

"This house was definitely the mountain experience I was looking for! The house held 5 of us very comfortably, and would have held more if needed. My favorite part was the patios, both upper and lower to keep you out of the sun/rain, and that there were no visible neighbors. The road was a little loud, and the inside stairs were a bit tricky, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay."
