The place was very accommodating by having a very early breakfast and supplied a place we could park our bikes indoors (there where other cyclists also staying there as well). « The hotel room was excellent. Situated right in the middle of Clarens you can walk everywhere from the hotel. Rooms overlooking the village green can be a little noisey but not overly so and rooms overlooking the mountains are quieter. Room very nicely decorated and contained four poster bed and fireplace, high end spec air conditioning, hair dryer, shower all much appreciated. Caring staff and good service including laundry facility. Restaurant Vito's is underneath and serves good Italian food...

"Les plats proposés au restaurant sont bons et à un prix très raisonnable, mais le service peut être lent et plusieurs plats ont été servis froids. Le petit déjeuner est aussi de bonne qualité et varié. La salle de restaurant du style chalet de montagne est chaleureuse et offre une très belle vue. Le personnel est sympathique. La vue des chambres Sentinel est splendide, surtout au lever et coucher de soleil. La literie est confortable. En revanche, la chambre est très mal isolée, on sent le vent rentrer par la porte et les fenêtres, ce qui en plus de refroidir la pièce est très bruyant... Le coffre-fort et une des couvertures chauffantes ne fonctionnaient pas. Le prix de la nuit est élevé, mais il n'y a pas d'autre alternative pour faire la randonnée aux Tugela falls."
