"We stayed for a winter weekend with another family who had the house next door. Everything was perfect for us. Seamus was there on arrival to welcome us and was very helpful giving advice on where to eat and things to do in the area. There was a great welcome pack of food and drink essentials which was much appreciated. The turf for the fire was used straight away! All in all we had a great time staying at Coastguard Cottages and would recommend to others"

"My 27 year old son and I came to visit Donegal, the ancestral home of his father’s family. We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Buncrana. We drove up to Malin Head through stunning scenery and visited sites in and around Buncrana. Julie was a kind and accommodating host. The property was well appointed with comfortable beds and a full kitchen on the outskirts of Buncrana. "It is a really nice clean hotel with friendly and efficient staff. If I have a quibble, and it is a minor one, it was the absence of fresh fruit from the breakfast buffet. Only canned fruit was available. Again let me reiterate that the hotel staff were excellent."
