Wow! What a pleasant experience. Rooms were stylish and smelled great, facing out on a beautiful lake. They decorated for the season and did a really good job. They also had 3 resident cats which were very cute, adding to the ambiance. Would stay again and recommend to anyone considering the area.

Check in wasn't as smooth as we expected since there are no hotel staff on site during the off-season. Apparently I should have received a text with instructions on check in including the lock box code 24 hours before check in, but never got this.
A helpful long term guest at the property helped out by calling the property manager for me at around 8pm. Her passed along the info over the phone and it all worked out.
In the morning I chatted with another couple staying that had the same issue...

Great and unique stay at the Ranch Motel, has a real neat retro Americana charm that’s getting harder to find these days. Well-maintained and comfortable rooms located conveniently just off the interstate. Definitely recommend!

A comfortable motel in a great garden setting and nice patio overlooking the Rogue River. A great restaurant on the next property. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. I would stay there again.

This place was an awesome stop along our west coast family road trip. Hesitant to book because of the low price, I was a little nervous about what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. This is not your typical motel. Flowers and shrubs surround the property. You won’t find plastic chairs outside the front doors with people smoking outside of this motel! We had a comfortable stay and are pleased to have taken a chance on a motel. You have renewed our faith in motels Super 8!
