"This is an extra-ordinarily well-refurbished 18th century house just off the High Street in Dorchester. It is a stone's throw from Dorchester's best restaurant (Al Molo) and right near a lovely park with tennis courts. "We booked to stay here 2 nights in June. The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. When we arrived it took the counter staff ages to check us in as apparently there was something confusing about the booking in the system. She was very nice though. So...
"This is a welcoming local inn with good rooms and a lovely garden area. We ate here in the evening and also had a cooked breakfast the next morning. Both meals were well cooked and reasonably priced. This was our second stay here and we will visit again when in the area."
