"The only good thing was that the bed was clean, but it had 2 tiny pillows and when I asked for a couple more the desk person sighs and say, I only got 2. Junkies in the parking lot. About 6 broken down cars and 10 old broken bicycles parked on the front side of the building that look like had been there all winter. It used to house the druggies and homeless. I felt unsafe parking there. The restaurant was closed, pool closed, zero amenities, the hallways smell of smoke and mold with torn carpet that easily could be tripped on. It’s just horrible horrible. We were to guys splitting a room and we both would sleep anywhere with a bed generally and this was just gross and sketchy and Expedia should be ashamed to have it listed on their site. "

"Stayed with a group of 5. Ski slopes were perfectly accessible and house was easy to find. The amenities alone make this stay amazing. Loved the cabin vibe and the beds were super comfy. If bad weather, make sure to have a 4-wheel drive car to get up the driveway as it's a bit steep. "

"Property was beautiful. Cabin was rustic and very small. The 12 ft birch tree ladder to get to the bedroom in the loft was challenging. If you have ever lived on a 30 ft boat or in an RV you would know how to navigate the smallness of the space. Hot water was good, heat was good, stove was good, pots and pans were good. "

"We had to head up to killington early and we found this place to crash before our rental was open. The place was great. It was clean and the check in and check out process was very easy. Beds were comfortable. "

Everything about this stay was easy - 20min drive to the slopes, 15 min to downtown Rutland, and an extremely well-equipped house to easily accommodate the six of us. Superb communication from the host both prior to and during our stay (promptly answered several questions for us). If you want a vintage farmhouse feel as opposed to a modern condo-style stay, this is the place for you!"
