« Nice bright studio in a lovely and tranquil setting. The unit is cozy and comfortable with nice little touches including several options for making coffee, a small fridge, toaster oven & microwave. Plentiful towels and basic toiletries on hand. Location is perfect, close to highway entrance and small shopping center. Gracious hosts who went out of their way (shoveling after a snow storm and ensuring walkway was accessible) to make it a great stay. »

« The house overall was good, close to skiing and enough space. We were supposed to rent this house with friends who ended up not being able to make it at the last moment. The house would have been tighter than optimal with another couple, especially since the master on the ground floor is directly connected to the only bathroom. The community center left much to be desired which was unfortunate, definitely bring your own towels, they charge 3 for a towel and we didn't go down with our wallets so...

« We had a wonderful weekend stay for a wedding. Bear Chase Bungalow was a perfect accommodation for our crew of 4 adults- we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. « The property is in a great location, right across the street from main street and many bars/restaurants. It is also in the heart of PSU student housing so the area has a lot of foot traffic and bar traffic. The property is not fancy, and the decor is outdated. The property offers a large space for your group to spread out but their is only 1 bathroom and the shower is quite small. The floors are somewhat slanted as the building is from the 1800's and upstairs carpet should be replaced....

« This is a country style inn, with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. A lot of nice touches. We did not have to go to the store for coffee, creamer, condiments, etc. The host answered questions promptly. Very quiet area with a great little country store and thee Birdsong Cafe next door. »
