"We were warmly welcomed at this property. We could tell the owners take special care in small details to provide a delightful experience for their guests. They went out of their way to help us find a place to eat dinner since we visited during the end of the season and most restaurants were closed. The breakfast was lovely, and we enjoyed the company of the dogs and the local cat. Our room was beautiful, the decor top notch. You will be delighted to stay here."

"Our family holiday was fantastic. The property is ideally located for the river, canoeing and the village. The house and the amenities were fantastic. The pool and hot tub in particular were well used by all the family. Marie could not be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and she also recommended various places to eat. We have holidayed as a large family before but this property was by far one of the most comfortable. We will definitely return again."

"Everything about Les Papillons is thoughtful, beautiful and comfortable - the house gardens pool are really well set up & managed - the owners are very helpful but unobtrusive - the facilities are great, even down a little shop which saved us going out to buy wine after our long journey - cheers! Can’t fault anything and can’t wait to return!"

"L'Esplanade is in the heart of Domme, a charming place and town with a wonderful view of the valley. Parking is an issue. We left our car in a metered space (without paying) for about 45 minutes while we were checking in and received a ticket. The staff directed us to an unmetered spot on the street and we left it there for the rest of our two day stay. BUT we were there off season (week after Easter). If you are going to stay there during a busier time you should research the parking options...
