Sunlight Eco Tourism Island Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The whole experience was perfect from beginning to end. Amazing staff, great amenities and fantastic beach + pool"

Busuanga Bay Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation. The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open. Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost 2.5k per way. So plan for that cost as fuel prices are taking a toll on transport. Also there is a 22 percent tax on all food, but the prices of food are cheap enough that you don’t notice. The complaints I see online don’t seem fair. They are very misguided. This is a five star stay. They have great activities , and amazing amazing spa. Only $15 for the top massage for 2 hours and scrub. I will stay here again, only difference is I’ll rent a car as you are hour outside of coron town."

Chindonan Dive and Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The staff and location is the best thing about this resort. Matt, the diving instructor, and the boat captains were excellent. The rest of the staff - cooks,,servers, housekeeping - were so friendly and kind. Although there is construction going on to expand and renovate the resort, they were pretty quiet and respectful. The room we stayed in is one of the newer rooms but even the older rooms were okay. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with ocean views. "

White Summerville Tourist Inn

8/10 Good

"Beautiful property with fresh clean rooms. The place is immaculate, and the staff is super accommodating. They arranged several island tours and daily excursions, the sunset one being spectacular. The upstairs restaurant prepared delicious evening meal with a wide variety of Japanese and Asian food. The only drawback was the rooster farm next to the property. They can be annoying."

Pearl Bay Villas

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay here. Peter, Bianca and all their staff are fabulous. They have arranged boat tours, room service, early breakfast delivery and packed lunch, and transportation from and to the airport for us. The food in their little restaurant was awesome as well. The place is away from the hustle and bustle of Coron town but still had easy access to all beautiful islands, snorkeling places and sandy beaches. I highly recommend this place!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Dicilingan Island?

For the most pleasant weather conditions, the best time to visit Dicilingan Island is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to May.

During these months, you can expect plenty of sunshine and minimal rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities like island hopping, snorkelling, and diving. The seas are generally calmer, which is great for boat trips to explore the surrounding islets and hidden lagoons. This period is particularly good for families looking for reliable weather for beach days and water sports.

Couples looking for a romantic escape will also appreciate the dry season. The clear skies and gentle evenings are great for sunset cruises or dining al fresco. You'll find it easier to enjoy secluded beaches and the natural beauty of the island without the disruption of rain.

While the dry season offers the best weather, it is also the peak tourist season.
