"First day when I arrived, floor wasn’t clean but they cleaned right the way. When I had a guest over one night, receptionist gave me a hard time. Breakfast can be improved. The same menu daily and eggs wasn’t good :/ But general it is an affordable place. And close to everywhere. Would I stay again? Maybe"

"They advertise a balcony with the room! It's a 2 ft ledge you can barely stand on! You also get a kettle for hot water but no cups etc. The pictures and description of the rooms were very deceiving considering the price. The room was not very clean and had mold in the shower. Our first room didn't have a working tv and was smaller then what was advertised so they moved us! Second room wasn't much better! They did fix the fact we had no not water! The breakfast was big but not very inviting! Most of the front desk employees were very helpful. But when we arrived with our luggage (2 women over 65!) The guy at the door just stood there as we struggled to get our suitcases up the side ramp! We should of left then!"

"I am very disappointed with my recent stay. My girlfriend and I stayed for one night after our flight was canceled. I had also stayed at your hotel just a few days earlier and spent nearly $300 at the hotel facilities. My girlfriend provided her information at the front desk and was told everything was fine. However, security came to our room several times during the night, waking us up repeatedly because the front desk claimed they had not received her information. This situation was frustrating, unprofessional, and disrupted our rest. As a returning guest, I expected much better service. I would appreciate your review of this matter and your response. "No complaints by me. It’s a very central hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, but they’re clean and comfortable and that’s perfect for me. The front desk staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast gets very busy so get there early to get the best pic of all the food. I didn’t really have any problems other than the fact that you have to buy the water in the mini bar. There’s no other way to get drinkable water. Water is needed to stay alive so I think at the very least a hotel should give you drinkable water without buying it extra but I didn’t complain too much about that. There’s a grocery store up the street too, and I went and bought some large bottles of water there."

"Excepcional location on the best side of Copacabana beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful beach full of services (there is no beach service but plenty of vendors). Service is attentive and rooms are clean and cozy. Small pool with a sun deck and gym on the roof top with great views. Close to Ipanema beach, Arpoador and variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops. I highly recommend and will consider to be back in my next get way in rio"
