"The rooms are quite tired and outdated. Would be great for it to be modernised a bit more in line with the lovely spa facilities, which we're just perfect. Staff really helpful. Keiron was fab 😊. Breakfast was confusing in the buffet/help yourself area. Some rethinking of the guests experience of navigating breakfast choices would be helpful, also on the menus a clearer indication of vegetarian options, this was also confusing. But over all the hotel was just lovely, great location, views and location."

"Our stay was an utter disappointment. I booked this one as a treat for me and my mother, as she hasn't travelled for 15 years. It was no where near my experience of a 4 star. More comparable to one of the many budget hotels I've been in, with the exception of a comfier bed (one of the few good things!). There were scuffs on walls, huge chips out of furniture, mould around the bath, and mouldy window frames which were excellent for letting in freezing air all night 👌 The pool was also tiny. I can't speak for the other facilities. We paid extra for a 'superior room', and we even questioned whether we'd been put in the wrong room! When I asked, I was informed that it was superior, which is basically a twin room with the beds pushed together?? Since when does that constitute as superior? The view of the carpark really topped it off. We had to request a shorter stay because of the disappointment, but were refused."

"Recieved a call 3 days before our stay to say that a wedding was booked and our room was above the function but they could not relocate us as fully booked! I complained and eventually another room was found but it was a downgrade from the exec room with a view that I had paid for! The hotel is very tired but could be amazing as the grounds/view are lovely. At dinner another table were complaining that the steak was not warm luckily our meals were fine. The shower had a small spray which was a bit difficult. Parking was full due to the wedding also."

"The property is simply stunning! I have been to the Cotswolds many times over the years however this was a first for my partner who found the area breathtaking. The highlight of her few days here was the hotel. Every aspect of the hotel was faultless and will certainly return for a longer stay."
