"Nice place with plenty of space and comforts. Owners were super nice and communicated well. Property was well maintained with nice outdoor space and a fire pit to enjoy the Alaskan summer evenings. Short few minute drive to town, would be a long walk without a car but very convenient with a vehicle. Amazing views. Freezer space for fish caught if needed. Was told bears come through daily. But didn’t see any. Was able to enjoy the bald eagle nesting in the trees in the yard! Overall great place to stay. "

"All around great! I read reviews so when I saw the good reviews and high rating on Hotel Glacier, we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! The hotel didn't look like much on the outside but the lobby was nice and clean. Check-In was easy. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. $100/night less expensive than another nearby option. We will definitely stay at Hotel Glacier when we return to Valdez and would highly recommend."
