"I would highly recommend anyone doing the shimanami kaido to stay here! It does make for a longer second day to complete the bike ride as it’s before the official halfway point but the hotel it self it absolutely stunning with the onsen we throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel."

Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. "The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "

"This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is 100%the best I’ve ever encountered. So nice, polite and extremely accommodating. The breakfast has more options than I think I’ve ever seen. The grounds were beautiful. It’s a long way from town, but it’s right next to the airport. If I ever come back to this are, I will definitely stay again. "
