« What a wonderful stay at the country cabin! It was for only 1 night but it was perfect! Watching the snow fall while relaxing on the couch with the fireplace was just great! It was clean, neat and had everything you need. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Our son will be attending Alfred State in the fall so we’re hoping to make this our stay place when we visit!!! »

« The property was very clean and well equipped with items needed for our stay! Very quiet and scenic. We enjoyed time outside having a campfire, using the fire table and fishing. Communication with the host was very easy. »

« Nice home, with a bit of sewage smell from the bathroom water. Clean, spacious, well-kept. Ground is uneven so take care with individuals who need assistance walking. »

« Very cool location. All we needed and very cozy. Should probably plan for high clearance vehicle to access (had some trouble in my Prius). Kitchen had good basics, but personally, I'd add a kettle for boiling water. Scenery was amazing, and Hosts were great. »

« This was first time using Vrbo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However my expectations, were far exceeded. When we first arrived, the host was extremely friendly, and noted places to go and eat. When we arrived at the cabin, it was exactly how it looks in the pictures. He, once again explained everything in detail how allof it works. The host was very informative. The cabin it self was great, and private. The only noise we heard was the water going downstream. There was a train, nearby. However...

« The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga »

« Our return to Alfred University was very special, and we deeply appreciated the accommodations and hospitality provided by Steve and Luanne in their lovely, cozy home. It offered not only a great night’s rest, but also a warm and comfortable space to spend time with old friends. We were grateful for their availability, attention to our needs, and the delicious homemade banana bread. We would definitely return again. »

« Exactly what I was looking for with a nice blend of rustic and modern amenities. Not to mention solitude, quiet, river walks, sunrises and how cool is it to stay in a treehouse! »

« The fan was essential in keeping the heat down from the loft area. It worked very well. Our purpose for being in the area was pancake breakfast, trip to PA for shopping and a quiet weekend. Mission accomplished. Peaceful setting over looking the Genesee River especially if you like woodstove and fire pit. »
