« A comfortable and nicely appointed hotel in the centre of the town. Many hotels allow early check-in if rooms are available, but NOT the Hampton by Hilton. You pay £10 per hour extra. A very disappointing practice. Low-cost airlines charge for every little extra; it seems that there are low-cost hotels! »

« Nous avons été bien accueillis. L'hôtel est un ancien manoir situé dans un bel environnement. L'après-midi, nous nous sommes retrouvées seuls dans cet hôtel ! Nous avions l'impression d'être des châtelains. En dehors de la propriété, il faut faire des kilomètres pour trouver de quoi se restaurer correctement (le dimanche soir, l'hôtel ferme son restaurant). Nous avons passé une nuit très calme... »

« On a short break in Hartlepool with family. The Grand is 'grand' a stylish property probably more than 100 years old- carpeted rooms- confortable bed-high ceiling- modern bathroom-(good water pressure)- decent included breakfast- very friendly staff. Nothing really special BUT for this price it is value for money in he UK. »

« We used the Pickled Parson as a home base for a month while visiting family. The room we had for that duration of a stay was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean and made up daily. The staff were all amazing and really made us feel at home. A very relaxed atmosphere with great breakfast options. The bar was a great option to wind down at the end of the day with a night cap. « Not a good a place »

« Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. »
