The bed was very comfortable which was ideal as I was using it after some long walks all weekend. The free WiFi was a bonus and the tv in the room accessed lots of streaming channels for chilling in the evening. Breakfast was catered to your choices and was an ideal start to long days out walking. On my return in the evening I was able to eat in with a delicious and varied menu where the hosts went out of their way to provide this, even though they had a busy bank holiday weekend of regular diners. I would recommend this establishment to anyone wishing to stay in the Thirsk area as it is only a few miles out of the town in a quiet village.
