« Upon arrival the property side did not appear very inviting. The area seemed pretty sketchy with a bar on site and some rowdy people outside. As a female, I would not of wanted to stay by myself.However, it was after dark. First impression of the room was dark and dreary. Not updated and very old. But on the positive side, the room was very clean. The air worked great. Bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! « I was travelling so just needed a room for the night. A busload of teenagers arrived just before me. Staff was very efficient and I had a very brief wait to check in. Room was clean. I didn't eat breakfast due to all of the teenagers in line (not the hotel's fault). There appeared to be plenty of food. »

« Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! »

« Beautiful place for a family gathering! The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The host was kind and welcoming, and the unique historic home was grand and comfortable, with a lot of things for the youngsters to marvel at! We’ll be returning soon! »
