"Lovely room with huge bed. Nice and clean and staff friendly. Food was average with the humus and babaganush completely tasteless. They’d also run out of a couple of key elements of the main menu which made the choices difficult. Other than that was ok"

"The staff are really friendly, the room is a good size and the beds comfy. The room is clean, but unfortunately as soon as we opened the door we were hit by the smell of smoke. It’s a non smoking room, but clearly the previous occupants had been smoking. The cleaner had left the window open and we were given an air freshener to spray but it didn’t help. The hotel was full so couldn’t be moved. A real shame, a child and 2 non smokers, it spoilt the stay really."

"Weather was poor but room was warm. The Globe’s restaurant was great for breakfast and evening meal with friendly staff. The accommodation is well positioned in beautiful Wells with lots to see and do in the area."

Complimentary upgrade to double deluxe (Bed was superking & super comfy) Room facilities and room cleanliness were great, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to visiting again."

"On arrival the hotel was clean, we arrived early and staff were very friendly, looked after our bags so we could go out. The staff were always very polite, helpful and friendly, happy to give us more tea, coffee and milk for our room. The room had a balcony and we could open the doors slightly to let air in but you couldn't go out on the balcony due to safety catch on doors not allowing it but that didn't bother us, we understood that it was designed to keep people safe.
