Myanmar Mountain Hotels from CA $10

"I stayed overnight only before getting on the Mandalay ferry. The place was small and very clean. Good for one person but a squeeze for two. The service staff were willing but incompetent. They couldn't find my booking and had no record of my payment. They failed to book me a car from the airport after promising to do so. However, all these things were fixable and my tuk tuk was ready and waiting in the morning."

"Great spa rooms look of the hotel but at breakfast is almost nothing to choose and menu has 12pages but nothing available room service it didn't exist as they chef was sick so they closed kitchen and wifi work for 4h of our stay the rest two days didn't Staff is extremely polite and helpful hotel has huge potential but my experience wasn't great"

"We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. We were lucky I'm sure but I think it's the right time of year to go, any other must get unbelievable hot. Mandalay was 40 ish...

"Magnificent traditional hotel overlooking Inle lake. Serene and calm. Staff were smiley, helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The gardens and estate were immaculate. A massage at the spa was worth every penny. Food was delicious and varied. Attention to detail second to none. I couldn’t recommend more! 10/10 & 5 stars. will 100% go back to this little slice of heaven "

"The Heritage is honestly one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and they also speak great English. The building and the rooms are beautiful, as are the grounds. "

"I arrived this hotel on January 2026, and went to check into the hotel, but found that the hotel had been closed for a long time. This hotel is not operate anymore."

"Excellent stay in a lovely hotel which is just outside the town making it quieter, friendly staff, a really memorable place"

"Should have a table or a rack to put my bag on instead of the floor . Other then that no real problems and nice friendly staff !!"
