"All staff is nice and willing. Unfortunately the property itself seems to be left in disrepair. The worst part is the lack of a proper restaurant/chef: food quality is below par. Breakfast is appalling, very little choice and poor quality. Definitely, as it is now, not a 5 star hotel."

"This hotel canceled my 3 rooms at last minute - they said their partner hotel would accommodate us-well at 2:00 am at airport while desperate for their driver, we got them on phone - they had no idea what hotel or rooms- no idea. We were stranded, 4 elders ladies left. We were helped by taxi drivers, who tried to find us another hotel last minute. This scam, assigning and confining rooms but wait now we get higher rent So you get nothing. I have emails proving they canceled n left us high n dry....

"Bathroom outside the room in a common area, no air conditioning, the room was 36oC when we arrived, is this supposed to be 5-star hotel?"

"The island was beautiful and isolated, the water was crystal clear. The staff was amazing as was the food. Main downside was no ac, but the bungalows were very airy and cooled down at night. (Also all comparable hotels didn't have ac either)"

"Our stay at Soanambo was absolutely fabulous right up until the end of our trip. We enjoyed a beautiful 4 days at the resort with friendly staff, amazing food, and beautiful surroundings. At 2:30 AM on our 4th night, my roommate was bitten by a MASSIVE 8-inch CENTIPEDE! It had been hiding under a towel. There was immediate swelling and fiery, intense pain. We tried calling the front desk several times, but no answer. We then ventured out all over the resort in the middle of the night looking...

"Good size room with most of commodities: A refrigerator would increase the room comfort. Service is ok, breakfast is including nice dishes with Malagasy specialties. Good location if interested by seaside and exploring the countryside because of no exposure to eventual downtown traffic jam"
