"We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. "

"Good location, very close to the ocean, downtown area, and ferry terminal. The property is an old house, so first impressions of the entrance is a bit shabby, worn carpets, etc. But, the room was comfortable and very clean. All in all, good value for money."

"We had a very pleasant one night stay in Douglas at The Claremont Hotel. Booking two rooms. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage at reception prior to check in. We parked our car over the road with free parking. The ocean view room was beautifully clean & tidy. The king bed was super comfy and spacious. We had a family dinner in the hotel, which was outstanding. Karen who served us was very professional, respectful and attentive. It really made our stay in Isle of Man a memorable one. Highly recommend. "

"Good breakfast, though disappointed that since my last visits it is no longer possible to have Manx kipper as a breakfast choice. Decor in corridors and room a little tired. "Used accessible entrance on arrival via the breakfast room… poor signage, lights out and smelled of bleach.. not very welcoming. Stairs up to main entrance impossible with suitcases. Reception bright & welcoming when we found it. Room clean, but needs a refurb. WC flush took 10 mins to re-fill!! Three big windows with view of the beach. Spacious with ample storage. Breakfast average but friendly staff. Restaurant evening meal.. fabulous food but expensive. Coffee in lounge served in a pot & same price as a cup elsewhere. Bus stops outside… bus direct to/from airport. "
