« We were excited to find a very reasonably priced place to stay for a spontaneous trip to Lake of the Woods. When we arrived, there was a very strong musty smell that burned my nose and throat. It seemed like the building had some rotting or mold issues that were covered up by a fresh coat of paint. I messaged the owners to let them know we couldn’t stay there because of the fumes- especially since we had an infant with us, and received no reply. The place looks nice, but it definitely seems like...

« We have gone to lake of the woods a handful of times a year for the past decade and have stayed pretty much everywhere- and this place is our favorite! We have stayed here a few times now and it at is always very clean and quiet. It is a great price for a great location; easy to find and close to the water access. The owners are always working on improvements so the place is constantly being updated. Can’t wait to come back! »

« Easy to find, a cute cabin deep in the woods. Big windows almost makes you feel like your camping. All wood inside with big timbers gives the feeling of you’re living back in the 1800’s. The weather was cold so the fire place came in handy.There was no oven which was a little surprising but there was adequate electric appliances to cook what we had.The owners were really easy to work and answered all of our questions.Would highly recommend it!! »

« The home and accommodations were beyond our expectations. We've been coming up to Lake of the Woods for 20 years, stayed at well known resorts, and all I have to say is, we will most definitely be coming back to this home before a resort. The host, David, was absolutely amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay, to include snow removal. Top notch customer service!!!! The home is absolutely beautiful. The hosts have thought of everything someone might need during their stay...
