"It was centrally loacated to attractions, restaurants, and whisky row. Safe area. Hotel had free breakfast with healthy options. It even sold wine in “ store” incase of late arrival or need to unwind. Had “outside”(but enclosed w/in hotel grounds) sitting area to grill, relax, but pool was indoor. On Wed.s A beer/ wine and light snack social was offered. Loved it… do it every night! All in all loved our stay."

"Worst stay of my life. Asked for early check in, was told no problem. Got to hotel told couldn't check in until 4pm. Arrived at 1pm. Found out reason was no hot water. Told 3 different times it would be back on. Both property restaurants were closed,pool was closed, sink clogged. Was my wife's BD weekend. Just ruined. Also staff was rude and impatient. Lastly, even though I booked through a 3rd party at other hotels, this property couldn't provide me with a receipt. Do not stay here. Im hoping to get my money back. Worst experience ever."

The Brown Hotel

"The Brown Hotel is beautiful! It is like taking a trip back in time when you walk in the door.I love the architectural grandeur of the whole place, the elegant carpets, drapes, furniture, and paintings. The staff is so friendly, from the person who greets you at the door to the servers in the restaurants. Two of the meeting rooms are named after famous racehorses- Citation and Secretariat. I loved that! The Brown Hotel is rich in culture and history. Read about it in the little nook that is like a museum! Breakfast in the J. Graham’s Cafe is wonderful -especially the cheese grits and potatoes with onions and peppers. The Hot Brown in the Lobby Bar and Grill cannot be matched anywhere else!! Don’t waste time trying! One thing to note: If you walk out the front door and around the corner on the left, you won’t walk very far until you are in an area of homeless people/drugs/needles. That was our experience. We found that we should turn right when we go out the front door of the hotel. That leads to a shopping/eating area a few blocks down. Next time, I know to do that or just stay in the hotel."

"Florence Ky was the best location for our Creation Museum/Ark Encounter vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice pool area. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar area and we didn’t have to go out for breakfast or dinner"
