« The reception staff when we checked in was not friendly and didn’t welcome us or explain any of the amenities. Our bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable to sleep on. Also the tv did not work, couldn’t get channels on at all. The shower had low water pressure. Then after a rough night of sleep with the hard bed and hearing a guy snoring in the room behind our bed, the breakfast was nothing much. They had cereal, toast, yogurt and cups of fruit was all. I would not ever stay here again! »

« Very nicely decorated space with a cabin feel. Very clean & kitchen stocked with all we needed for cooking. With it being winter the gas fireplace was warm, comfy, & romantic for our get away. »

« This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is...

« Everything was amazing! Hot tub and sauna were the highlights. Post communicated excellently and kept the Christmas decorations up for us. Pool table air hockey darts just so many things to do it was so wonderful for me and my adult children to enjoy everything! The free coffee bar was a special treat for us all! We loved it and we will stay here again next year! »

« What I want people to know before booking here is that there is a "cat house" next door--and I love cats, but this is dozens of cats from kittens of three months to six months to dozens of adults. I was made to pay extra because they accept dogs and then couldn't enjoy the property and beautiful weather because the cats are literally hoarding the deck and yard and will NOT go away. Can't get a response from out of state owner. »

« Cute place but - A window next to fireplace would be nice-claustrophobic. NEEDS railing on both sets of stairs. The tin, trough-like shower/tub has…well a rustic character to it but - uh… more for looks (shock value) than for use. The Haunted Hot Tub Hut is greatly misrepresented as a rec room. It’s a small dark hut with a concrete floor, a dart board and tiny window with a broken screen.
