« I have stayed in many hotels around the world and Wishing Tree Boutique and Resort ranks right at the top. The views are unreal and impossible to recreate. Waking up to that scenery alone makes the stay special. The staff are outstanding. Warm, welcoming and genuinely happy. Service was spot on throughout, attentive when needed but never intrusive. They struck the perfect balance and gave great local recommendations without ever being pushy. A special mention to Sampath, the manager, who is...

« Planters House was fantastic! The team were all so lovely and welcoming, and the views are honestly to die for. Being located up in the mountains, surrounded by nothing but tea, was just beautiful and so peaceful. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, instead you order what you want at what time you want it, which is such a unique experience. As others have mentioned, the hotel is a Jeep-ride up a steep mountain which adds to the experience and sense of adventure. The hotel is a little rough...

"Séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel avec une vue à couper le souffle. L'hôtel est incroyablement situé, juste au dessus de la voie de chemin de fer, et à 5 minutes à pied de la rue principale d'Ella (ça grimpe pour revenir par contre). Superbe piscine, au calme et profitant de la vue. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Les plats sont délicieux (parfois épicés, on est au Sri Lanka), ils servent aussi des cocktails, des lassi etc, et on a eu la chance d'inaugurer le stand de glaces ! Et le top du top : le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable, un merci tout spécial à Tushara pour son accueil."
