"Did not feel safe anywhere near the property. They allow people to live in cars and campers set up in the parking lot….. and long stay folks run the roost…!!! "

"We like staying at the Lodge at Flat Rock. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly and personable. My only suggestion for improvement would be to the breakfast bar. The food items are basic. I would suggest the addition of fresh fruit ie. bananas & apples. Maybe a waffle maker and grits. "

"Good place to stay for the money. If you can find it. The staff has no idea where the hotel is located. FYI south east of I26 and hwy 68 do not drive 10 miles up to the top of the mountain. Hope you like waffles for breakfast that’s all there is. "
