« Mike was a fantastic host. It just so happened a serious windstorm occured as we arrived and the power was out. He was cutting a tree that fell across the road when we arrived. Before dark, he supplied a generator, extension cord and a light so we could see at night and keep the cabin warm with a space heater. Great little cabin in a remote location. Nice and quiet. Will stay again in the future if thr opportunity arises! »

« After being on the road and hotels, it was nice staying here! We felt at home right away. Everything was exceptional, I loved the decor too, this house has the feel of a victorian home. Host was very responsive and allow us to get in early because we were tired. The mattress could be a bit firm it was too soft for my back, the bedding was hotel style and professional looking, everything else was good, unlike hotels, I liked the different shampoos brands in the shower. I will surely stay here...

« Had a wonderful extended stay at Oak Haven Retreat. We were working in the area and usually stay in Motels. Having the extra space and the quiet peaceful setting was amazing. The kitchen was very well equipped and all the spaces were very well decorated and welcoming. Very clean. We highly recommend Oak Haven Retreat. »
